FAQs and Design Guidelines

We got your tufting workshop questions & answers!

A typical workshop may take 3-4 hours- please allocate the appropriate amount of time for your reservation.

Our team will:

  • Set up your tufting station with your requested design
  • Source the proper yarn according to the colors of your requested design
  • Provide expert instruction on how to use a tufting gun
  • Supervise throughout the entire tufting session
  • Glue, trim, and apply a backing to your rug

Our Standard workshop option lets you choose whatever design you prefer, as long as it fits within our design requirements (see the bottom of this page). Our Express Booking workshop option allows you to choose from any of our pre-made designs from our curated flash sheet. Simply specify the design code in the form when booking your workshop and we will prepare your frame accordingly.

You have the option of 27x27in or 19x19in frames (select size on the workshop page). We'll make your design as large as possible within the frame dimensions.

We require 3-5 weeks to glue, trim, and apply a backing to your rug. Once completed, we will email you with pick-up details.

Reschedules are permitted if notified at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations are non-refundable.

The minimum age for participation in our tufting workshops is 12 years old. Due to the nature of the tufting process and the equipment used, such as tufting guns, we find that participants aged 12 and above are best suited for the experience.

Our workshops cater to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced tufters. Our expert instructors provide guidance and support throughout the session.

Yes, all necessary materials, including yarn, tufting gun, and backing, are provided for the workshop.
