Introduce your child to the world of rug making in this hands-on, two-day tufting workshop designed specifically for young creators.

Students will learn how to use professional tufting equipment, choose colors, and create their own custom rug from start to finish in a supportive small-group environment. No prior experience is required.

Throughout the workshop, students will work on a 19-inch rug using a design selected from our curated collection of beginner-friendly templates. Our instructors guide students through every step of the process, helping them build confidence while creating something they can proudly take home.

Who's this for?

This course is designed for complete beginners as well as intermediate learners. No prior tufting experience is necessary! Our expert instructors will guide you through all the foundational skills, ensuring you feel confident as you progress through the course.

What's included in the course?

All materials are included in the course price. This includes yarn, mirrors, tufting tools, backing materials, and access to our studio’s tufting machines and equipment.

What will I create during the 6-week course?

You’ll create two custom rugs and a tufted mirror during the course. We’ll start with an introductory project to help you get comfortable with tufting, then move on to more advanced techniques as you design and complete your second project and mirror.

What is the time commitment for the course?

The course runs for 6 weeks, with classes held once a week for 2-3 hours each session.

What if I can’t attend one of the sessions?

While we encourage participants to attend all sessions to fully benefit from the course, we understand that life happens! If you need to miss a class, we will do their best to reschedule you for a makeup session.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes, we offer a full refund if you cancel at least 10 days before the course starts. If you cancel less than 10 days before the start date, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds are available once the course begins, but you may transfer your registration to another person if needed.
