Join us at Scattered Kind in Long Island City, NYC, and turn a themed design into a rug for $99. Pick your favorite from our rotating flash sheet, learn to use the tufting gun, and bring your design to life with guidance from our instructors.

Bring a friend, plan a date, or try something new after work. No tufting experience or drawing skills needed.

Each theme is available for a limited time, with workshops held on select weekdays. Check the booking calendar for available dates.

How it works

  • Browse the featured designs in the product images.
  • Choose an available workshop date.
  • Join us for a guided session and tuft your chosen design.
  • Leave your rug with our team for gluing and trimming.

Your finished rug

Finishing typically takes 2-4 weeks after your workshop. Your rug won’t be ready to take home the same day.

$99 per person. Select weekdays. Limited seating.

Please read before reserving:

Reschedules are permitted if notified at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations are non-refundable.

Our team will:
• Set up your tufting station
• Provide expert instruction by experienced tufters
• Assist with all prep and post-work needed to create your rug
• Supervise the entire session and provide guidance wherever needed

Our workshops typically lasts between 2-3 hours. Please allocate enough time for your reservation.

The Scattered Kind team requires 2-4 weeks to glue and trim your rug to perfection.
